Social Security

Our federal government developed 401k and other retirement accounts that were suppose to supplement employer pensions. But, most employers canceled their pension programs as a result. Employers also decreased the portion of created wealth that was dispersed amongst the employees. Consequently, employees are required to fund their own retirements on less real money.

An entire generation of Americans will be forced to work until death. Americans are slowly, but methodically, being reduced to a state of corporate chattel. It is time that ends.

Social Security should be transformed into a national pension program that provides a retirement income equal to the national mean income. This pension should be funded by every company (small-business excluded) that wants to do business, directly or indirectly, within American jurisdiction.
